Il Cortile is a non-profit artistic-cultural organization. It studies and broadcasts contemporary performance arts and physcomatic disciplines in their artistic, educational, cultural events and shows with an interdisciplinary prospective. It favours the exchange and comparison between diverse expressive languages by organising seminars, training, conferences and creating performances at a national and international level. For years it has been creating intense activities for able and disable people through artistic instruments from theatre and dance. The dance Contact Improvisation has a central office and has relations in the field of New Dance, DanceAbility, Body-Mind-Centering®, Metodo Feldenkrais® and other methods of body-mind education. It is part of the Rho network: “Fare diversamente”, “Coordinamento per una cultura inclusive” and “Comitato Teatro Civico delle Radici e delle Visioni”. It is a founding business partner for Coordinamento Danza and Arti Performative Comtemporanee from Lombardia.
