MUVet was born in Bologna in 2016. It promotes the diffusion of cultures, contemporary dance and disciplines related to the body for able and disabled people in an artistic, social and educational environment. It offers projects for children, adults, professionals and beginners. Through courses aimed at performance, research, training and community, the association wants to find a meeting place between different languages and art forms. It operates in Bologna taking dance to public spaces to give back to the people, and all over Italy for the #Unlimited network through the Oriente Occidente festival in Rovereto, for the “Moving Beyond Inclusion” project that promotes the professionalization of disabled artists. It organises laboratories and site-specific performances, taking dance into schools and onto the streets. It promotes the exchange of artists with diverse disciples, working on the common path of the body and listening.
