Chiara Bersani is an Italian artist working in the field of performing arts. Her formative path takes place mainly in the field of theatrical research with influences from contemporary dance and performing art.

Suffering a moderate form of Brittle Bone Disease, she is interested in the political meaning a body can simply assume with its own image when interacting with society. From here, in 2013, the research on the Political Body was born, articulated in Goodnight Peeping Tom (a performance that involves a young man, a young lady, a transgender, a disabled person and a porno actress), Miracle Blade, Tell Me More. In 2016 she started collaborating with the choreographer Marco D'Agostin with whom she created, in 2017, The Olympic Games, co-produced by K3 | Kampnaghel (Hamburg) and the European project BeSpeectACTive !.

Collaborations are one of the fundamental traits of her artistic journey. Among the longest ones are those with Marco D'agostin, Matteo Ramponi, Babylon Theaters, Alessandro Sciarroni and the Corpoceleste_C.C.00 # association. Other important collaborations include Tristura, Jérôme Bel, Mirko Locatelli and Rodrigo Garcia.

In these days she is working on her first solo called Gentle Unicorn.
