"Diverse in Dance" was born from the idea of ​​bringing disabled people into the world of dance and raising awareness in the artistic environments on the theme of disability. For this reason, the Association organises integrated choreographic workshops for all people who are interested in dancing, with the main purpose of offering a dance course for disabled people in a dance school, not in a CEOD or a cooperative. But at the same time, it wants to provide able-bodied dancers with the opportunity to compare themselves to different bodies and meet the limits that are within each of us. We are strongly convinced of the value of this activity, for the disabled person who has the opportunity to express himself in an artistic and aesthetic space and for the able-bodied person who is forced to resort to all his creative potential to overcome the obstacles given by one disability to another, finding the space to express all his potential. During the activity, elements and stimuli are derived from different techniques, such as Danceability, Sensitive Dance and DanceMovimentoTerapia, as well as elements of Contemporary Dance and Dance Theater.

It is the care of the Association that makes the productions in question as widely available to the public as possible, in order to raise the problems of integration to the citizens.

Through the performance that the Association produces, it wants to bring everyone a true and possible integration message, starting from the limit that - taken from a creative point of view - can become a resource.

To date, the Association has an average of 5 performances per month, performed on different occasions and in different contexts, such as Schools, Assistance Centers, Cultural, Artistic and Social Events.

Among the most prestigious occasions we remember: the victory of the first prize at the International Festival of Different Skills in Modena in 2010, 2012 and 2014; Long-distance shows in Tricase (Lecce) and Lloret de Mar (Barcelona - Spain); Performance at the "Mattino Cinque" broadcast by Federica Panicucci in 2010; Participation in the show on the occasion of the Feast of Faith in 2013 at Verona Arena; Performance at Cascina Triulza at Expo 2015; Participation in the Galà della Danza organised by the City of Verona at the Teatro Romano in 2016, with the main solo dancers of the “Fondazione Arena and de La Scala.
