Spirito Originario

Deals with ARTISTIC AND CHOREOGRAPHIC RESEARCH, PRODUCTION

An average subversive contemporary dance company with a sentimental background. The feeling is still the same of the first encounter, when different experiences joined in a place, together with their different expressive capacities. These gave birth to a series of performances built in different places and spaces to overcome the equation between identity and limits.

Chiara Gamberini was born in Ravenna in 1985. She graduated in philosophy with a thesis curated by Prof. Enrico Pitozzi on Merleau-Ponty and contemporary dance, while studying and dancing for the choreographer Elena Casadei and with various artists such as Giacomo Sacenti, Silvia Traversi and Melissa Pasut. She followed professional training at Leggere Strutture Factory (BO) and she danced for the company's shows; she continued training at the Duncan 3.0 Study and Research Center (Rm); carried on the studies with Michele di Stefano (Biennale College 2014) and Roberto Zappalà (ModemPro 2014). She then collaborated with the company Anoikis; at the contemporary art festival Corposamente she presented Rosso 256Hz o le vibrazioni della carne (2011) in collaboration with Neo Visual Project and Observing your skin (2013) in collaboration with the photographer Silvia Bigi and the musician Luca Maria Baldini. Since 2015 she has been collaborating with the director Emiliano Camporesi.

Giacomo Marinaro was born in Cesena in 1994. He continued his scientific studies at the Liceo A. Righi in Bagno di Romagna. Since 2015 he has been participating to the theater workshop directed by Emiliano Camporesi and collaborating with the dancer and teacher Chiara Gamberini for the staging of performances presented in schools and then as a permanent member of the company Spirito Originario.

In 2018 the company Spirito Originario creates Evitiamo nell’aria - Bodies that overturn the possible into imaginary, a video directed by Emiliano Camporesi  which starts from from the existential loneliness of the body, on the edge of a match both visible and hidden, circular, necessary.
